LESSON 1 OF 6

Beat the dealer

Try to finish closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Number cards count their number; J, Q and K count 10. An Ace counts 1 or 11, whichever helps you. Hit takes a card. Stand keeps your total. Going over 21 loses immediately.

RGDSM table settings: 2,000 starting play chips; bets 10–500 in steps of 10; optional side bets 0–100. Six decks unless playing Double Deck. Dealer hits soft 17. Natural Blackjack pays 3:2, except Switch pays 1:1. Insurance costs half your opening wager and pays 2:1 when the dealer has Blackjack. Refill when below 10 chips.

The Ace can become 1 if another card would otherwise bust the hand.

All chips are for entertainment. No money, purchases or cash-outs.
